MSc Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics is a 2 Year postgraduate course that specially deals with the principles of the Nutritional values in Food and their impacts on the Human Body.

As mentioned in the name of the course, the program is a master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. After completing this degree, the post-graduates in this course are placed at several health organizations, research institutes, hospitals, or any other food organizations.

MSc in Food Nutrition is different from MSc in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. It is a postgraduate degree of 2 years, which focuses on the field of food production and food development. The course focuses on three specializations, namely Public Health Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, and Food Science. It is also a 2-year program that provides students with an in-depth knowledge of the subject to provide an understanding of the science of food safety and nutrition.

MSc clinical nutrition and dietetics eligibility criteria include a UG degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university, Some colleges allow students to pursue masters in nutrition and dietetics in India based on the marks achieved at undergraduate degree programs.

Apart from merit-based admission, students are only eligible for admission to MSC Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics if they crack the entrance exam. Other than the entrance exam score card, candidates need to participate in the counseling round. The counseling round involves Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. This round examines the candidate’s general attitude and knowledge regarding the course. After clearing the counseling round, the college authority releases a merit list and after that, the qualifying candidates can get admission to those particular colleges/universities.

Some top colleges and universities like symbiosis Pune MSc nutrition and dietetics conduct their respective entrance tests for admission to this program. However, the admission tests for this course are generally not at the National or State level, but university level.
